Study 4019 - Vital Statistics: Mortality, 1851 - 1910

This area of the database is currently expanding rapidly. As well as our collaboration with the Centre for Metropolitan History, on the health of the Metropolis between 1860 and 1920, we have gathered a large amount of data on the ages and sexes of those dying and will be adding data on cause of death obtained from Robert Woods (Liverpool).

Tables described in this section:

'mort_age': age-specific mortality data for decades.

'mort_age_70': age-specific mortality data for the decade 1871-80.

'mort_ann': annual data on mortality classified by cause.

'lon_subd': Sub-district mortality statistics for London
