Alexandria Digital Library (ADL)
The ADL Gazetteer is based on the ADL Gazetteer
Content Standard. Currently it contains data from the
NIMA Gazetteer, countries and U.S. counties, U.S. topographic
map quadrangle footprints, volcanoes and earthquake
epicenters. The GNIS data from the U.S. Geological Survey
has been partly added to the collection. At present,
there are approximately 4.4 million entries.

GeoNet
The New Zealand GeoNet Project provides
real-time monitoring and data collection for rapid response
and research into earthquake, volcano, landslide and
tsunami hazards. The GeoNet project is a collaboration
between the Earthquake Commission, the Institute of
Geological & Nuclear Sciences and the Foundation
for Research, Science & Technology.
