Introduction to accessing data
Who can access the data?
Most of the collection is available to any user free of charge for the purposes
of not-for-profit research or teaching or personal educational development.
A few studies are only available to higher and further education for teaching,
learning and research purposes. In addition a few studies have been deposited
with the History Data Service for preservation only and cannot be disseminated.
If data is required for commercial uses then the the UK Data Archive's advice
for commercial users should be consulted.
Ordering data via the Data Catalogue
Most of our studies can be ordered via the UK Data Archive's Data
Catalogue. You will have to be registered with the UK Data Archive to place and order.
Further information on how to register with the UK Data Archive and how to access
